When visiting California, I had the incredible opportunity to take Sarah and Kyle’s engagement photos in Malibu. Sarah and Kyle are a wonderful couple and currently reside in Los Angeles, California. I met Sarah in college at California State University, Fresno, where we became friends while we both studied interior design.

This romantic session featured two beautiful locations. We began taking photos at Malibu State Park.

The park featured hills, hiking trails, and golden sunlight, making it a gorgeous location to take photos at. We even found an empty hiking trail that created a perfect scenery for these photos.

 

I love candid lifestyle shots… they really display how happy the two are together.

And, of course, an up-close shot of the beautiful ring.

Our second location was at Zuma Beach in Malibu. We arrived right on time to take photos during the sunset which made this session even more romantic.

I even got them to dip their toes in the water!

Sarah and Kyle are such an amazing couple. They are very happy together and I look forward to them saying their “I do’s!”
