HOW IT WORKS
OUR PROCESS
initial meeting
After your initial inquiry, we will send you a detailed email about Mindy Briar Photography that includes our packages. Next, we jump on a call to discuss your vision and details for your wedding day! This is a great time to ask questions and get to know each other!

booking
Once you have decided that we are "the ones!", we first do a happy dance...and then we get you officially in our books! Our team will then send you a detailed proposal for us to both digitally sign. Our 20% deposit is also due at this time to hold your date!

PLANNING + CONSULTATIONS
Your wedding day is officially getting close, which means it's time to do our wedding photography timeline phone call! Our team will first send you a detailed digital questionnaire that you will fill out prior to our meeting. During our call we will catch up and chat about ALL the details and questions that you may have. Then Mindy will create a custom timeline for you that we will follow during your wedding day (yes, you will have full access to this!). If you are working with a planner, we will also be coordinating with their team to make sure your day is seamless!
ENGAGEMENT SESSION
This is one of our favorite parts! We love engagement sessions because we genuinely value getting to know our clients. These are fun, relaxed and a great opportunity for you and your partner to get comfortable in front of our camera! Not sure about posing? We've got your back! Mindy will help gently guide you into flattering poses as well as let you two be YOU...which means, bring on the fun!
YOUR WEDDING
You have officially made it to the biggest day of your lives and we are right there with you cheering you on! Throughout the day, we will be by your side documenting all of the details and heartfelt moments (big and small!).

Where are you based?
We are based along the coastline of Connecticut in a small town called, Milford during the months of May to October.
We are based in sunny Oahu Hawaii during the winter months of November - April.
Do you shoot film or also digital?
Mindy shoots both digital and film! All packages include high-resolution digital images. If you are you a film lover - please do let us know and we can send you our film add on pricing for your session!
How long is your turnaround time?
Our turnaround time for wedding galleries is 6-8 weeks. Our Portrait session turnaround time is two weeks. All images are delivered in a online password protected gallery.
Do you travel outside of
new england & hawaii?
You can often find Mindy and Cameron traveling around the globe - it's one of their favorite hobbies! In short - yes, we do destination weddings! Let us know the location you are dreaming of and we can create a custom plan for you!
What are your rates?
Our rates are based upon hours of photography service. Please inquire to learn more about our packages for weddings and portraits!
How many photos will I receive in the final online wedding gallery?
You will receive around 100 professionally edited images per hour of photography in a modern online gallery.
