AWARE CT Event – Westport, CT

Before COVID-19 kept us all at home, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take photos at the AWARE CT Event in Westport, CT. Hosted at the Pop’t Art Gallery, this year’s event was featured in Westport Lifestyle Magazine, where some of my photos were featured in the issue.

This year, the event partnered with The Cancer Couch Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness for Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer research.

Additionally, The Cancer Couch Foundation aims to raise funds to research for a cure, as metastatic breast cancer research lacks proper funding.

Upon my arrival, the entrance featured photos from the event, beautifully collaged to greet visitors.

Following my entrance, two friendly faces greeted guests to check in visitors.

Inside the event, guests were entertained by a wide array of food, live music, and raffles throughout the night.

However, the main attraction was the beautiful portraits all throughout the event. Jerri Graham, a local Westport photographer, captured the featured portraits of Westport citizens.

Throughout the night, visitors admired the featured portraits at this year’s event. Many local Westport residents attended the event, including First Selectman Jim Marpe and local 06880 blogger Dan Woog. Other familiar faces from around town attended the event as well.

Thank you for letting me capture this special event! I had a wonderful time and loved seeing all the wonderful portraits.
