Elopements are a great option when tying the knot and I’m excited to share this dreamy winter wedding styled shoot that I dreamed up a few January’s ago. Did I mention, I’m behind on blogging?! 🙂 I had been dying to photograph a wedding again at Gallaher Mansion in Norwalk, Connecticut as it’s seriously an incredible architectural beauty of a building. So, I came up with a feminine winter styled wedding that would be filled with blush pinks, historical accents, soft muted winter colors of Connecticut landscapes and one elegant and posh couple. I’ve always been a fan of less is more and I think that If you’re creative with your locations and aesthetic you can really create an incredible and unique wedding that will show off your style and personality.

Before we headed to the mansion we took some dreamy portraits in the couples beautiful home in Westport, Connecticut. Grace is an Interior Designer and I’ve always just loved her style. Her home has this posh cottage vibe and it fit this styled shoot perfectly.
After that we hopped in the car and headed over to the stunning Gallaher Mansion in Norwalk, Connecticut. The couple were such troopers as it was around thirty degrees this day. SUCH champs!!

The very last stop we made was at Compo Beach in Westport, Connecticut. You can never go wrong with an ocean scene, right?
