Ashley + Brandon – A Faraway Farm Photoshoot- Westchester, New York

Does the term “practice makes perfect” sound familiar to you?

Well, Ashley and Brandon did just that when they rescheduled their wedding due to the pandemic.

Instead, they pushed through with an amazing photoshoot that alpaca lovers would surely go “ga-ga” over.

This cute couple moved to Yorktown Heights from Brooklyn a couple of years back.

When Ashley found out that they were a mile away from a legit alpaca farm, she immediately decided that it will be where they will get married!

The dream of being a Disney princess bride was born!

Here’s a snip of the story…

The wedding was supposed to be held in September last year, but because of Covid-19, it had to be postponed.

Family and friends would complete the fantasy wedding setup, so the couple decided to move the actual date to share their special day with their loved ones.

But even with the postponement, Ashley and Brandon could not pass up the chance to dress up and “practice” the different poses, as if it were the real thing.

(Plus the alpacas were really cute and clingy!)

Clad in her dreamy rainbow gown, Ashley cannot keep the excitement as she envisions the actual big day set: the alpacas, her family, friends, and her prince, all present to witness their dream wedding.

According to Westchester Magazine, “It was a truly magical day,” Ashley says.

“I felt like a bride in the middle of a fairytale. The alpacas were adorable, picturesque, curious little creatures.

They were quite taken by my bouquet, which they mistook for an evening snack on quite a few occasions.

My fiancé and I got to celebrate our love and have fun without the stress or nerves that come with a true wedding.

This was like the dress rehearsal.

We can’t wait to do it all over again.”

These two are just too cute a couple to not push through with the practice shoot.
